I think it may help to have two people assembling the bed, just one might get a little tricky, but with two, it was pretty easy.
The directions were very clear, and it has held up very well so far. I have gotten several bruises from running into the sharp corners of the bed, but if you're more graceful than I am, it shouldn't be a problem :)
I also didn't realize that there were six drawers instead of just three, and it has given me a TON of storage space! It's a great bed all around!
