I have to say first off that I was skeptical ordering a bed over the internet but my worries were unfounded in this case as the
bed arrived intact and exactly as advertised. Easy assembly in around an hour. Wood is of decent quality (Indonesia) and no particle board anywhere. The slats are standard and provide OK support although if you are over 180lbs you may wish to reinforce the slats with plywood or extra wood screws as all the slats are NOT screwed down to the rails or center support, however even with the supplied screws, the bed does NOT creak. I am very satisfied with the purchase and would buy again. I also ordered the matching nightstands from Modus and they are of equal quality and match the bed perfectly.
